Aircraft Maintenance Enterprise Solution (ACES) Sheppard Aircraft and Trainer Maintenance (SAM/STM) contracts via M1 Support Services.
Under our Sheppard Aircraft Maintenance (SAM) support contract we provide comprehensive organizational and intermediate-level aircraft maintenance support for the 80th Flying Training Wing (FTW) at Sheppard Air Force Base, home of the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) Program—the world’s only multinational flying training program, staffed and managed by 14 NATO member nations. AST delivers safe, reliable, and mission-ready aircraft by providing launch, recovery, maintenance, repair, and sustainment of assigned aircraft, engines, and associated ground support equipment, ensuring the continuous availability of trainer aircraft required to produce combat-ready NATO pilots in one of the Department of Defense’s highest operational tempo training environments.
Under our Sheppard Trainer Maintenance (STM) support contract we provide comprehensive trainer maintenance services in support of the 82nd Training Wing (TRW), ensuring the availability, reliability, and readiness of training systems critical to Air Force technical training. Our support includes inspection, maintenance, repair, and sustainment of training devices, training equipment, Ground Instructional Training Aircraft (GITA), historical static display aircraft, and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), encompassing 57 GITA representing 13 Mission Design Series, 15 historical static display aircraft and P-40/P-47 propeller, 959 pieces of AGE, and approximately 6,031 training devices spanning more than 20 maintenance disciplines
Direct management of AST assets in support of all M1 activities is the responsibility of Scott Weaver, Operations Manager, located in Lawton, OK.
