STOC II
STRI Omnibus Contract II (STOC II)
The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), headquartered in Orlando, FL, awarded the second STRI Omnibus Contract, known as STOC II, to 142 companies on January 27, 2009. STOC II, valued at $17.5 billion over the next 10 years, serves as an efficient contracting vehicle to quickly get simulation and training products and services into the hands of U.S. and coalition service members.
Advanced Systems Technology, Inc. (AST) was awarded two of the STOC contracts — one on the Small Business Set Aside portion and one on the Full and Open competition portion. This provides AST with the ability to compete for all task orders placed on the STOC II contracts. The objectives of the STOC II contract include leveraging of programs and technology, preparing Warfighters to meet the challenges of the future while supporting the continued growth of live, virtual, and constructive training domains, and testing solutions to enhance the training capabilities of the Warfighter. AST has supported simulation systems managed by PEO STRI, one of our most valued customers, since 1992.
Currently prime on the Tactical Tower Subsystem Technical Refresh of the Joint Operations Center Element at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) delivery order, Fort Polk, LA.
Direct management of AST assets in support of the STOC II contract is the responsibility of Dr. Bo Terry, VP of Operations, located in Orlando.
