
As a subcontractor to CACI Corporation
under the FORSCOM Operations, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services (OPTARSS)
contract, Advanced Systems Technology (AST) as part of Team CACI provides functional and
technical support to meet the demands of the diverse and critical Battle Command Staff
Training Program in support of the U.S. Army Reserve Command’s (USARC) mission.
AST provides subcontractor support to the USARC mission by providing planning, preparation, support, training, and realistic scenario driven distributed simulations based exercises for the 75th Battle Command Training Division (BCTD). Simulation models are distributed from five geographically dispersed Army Reserve Battle Projection Centers, covering a wide spectrum of constructive simulations within the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) which provide the execution fidelity during training that Brigade and Battalion commanders and their staff’s desire. The training and exercises can be provided via landline (T-1) and/or via intranet (LAN/WAN) for CONUS wide Reserve Component Brigade and Battalion combat support and combat service support staffs and units.

The training provided by AST as a member of Team CACI is an integral component to the overall Army Reserve training strategy. We provide units with expert training on ABCS systems that they may use once deployed in support of the War on Terror (WOT) or other operational or contingency requirements. This training provides commanders and staffs with trained and ready units capable of conducting contingency operations worldwide and the ability to win decisively on the modern battlefield.
